King oyster mushroom

First, purchase the wood trunk chips

Then, purchase the wheat bran

For the production of oyster mushroom compost, 80% of the dry weight should be wood chips, and 20% of the dry weight should be wheat bran.
Thoroughly mix the two materials, and then add 80% of the dry weight in water.
Mix the dry materials and water thoroughly for about one hour.
Then, place the mixture into a bag and sterilize it in an autoclave at 121°C for two hours.

After sterilizing the substrate bags, remove them from the autoclave and allow the bags to cool down.

After the bags have cooled, add the spawn.
Then, place the bags in a dark area at a temperature of 25°C with 90% humidity. It usually takes about a month for the spawn to colonize the entire compost, and for the bags to turn completely white.

After the compost bags turn white, open the top of the bags and lower the temperature to 18°C.

After opening the bags
Increase humidity till 95 %
And light should be controlled on 700 lux
7 days later small mushrooms will be appeared.

In this stage keep room temperature on 20 centigrade.
4 days later mushrooms are ready to harvest!

12 hours before harvesting decrease humidity till 80 % and stop irrigation!
